Solanesol

Solanesol

Solanesol is extracted from tobacco and is the starting material for many high-value bio-chemicals, such as as vitamin-K analogues and coenzyme Q10. It is also a potentiating agent in these medicines.  The research shows that after introducing a "solanesol" radical into the structure of some medicines, the effects are increased distinctly.  With solenesol as its primary material, Co-enzyme Q is useful in the treatment of heart diseases, cancers, and ulcers.
